300 bucks a piece to look for a minnesota sasquatch? i have been up north many times and the only thing that i ever saw that came close was a drunken native american woman with hairy armpits, legs and receding gums who was looking for a mate for one night. i think her nickname was sascrotch.
The first thought I had when I read that was, "Gotta get a franchise!" The second thought was, "Sounds like Dr. Greer's scam!" I'll put together a snipe hunt, oops, I mean Bigfoot hunt here in Texas for $250 a head. You get lunch, a snack, a T-shirt, some Bigfoot 'spore' in a bag, and the bee-jesus scared out of you by yahoos in the woods banging on trees and throwing rocks. You can also purchase a DVD or your adventure for an additional $50 that includes video of you screaming like a little girl at noises coming from the woods.
I've spent alot of time out in the woods by myself in some very secluded places like Superior National Forest, Paul Bunyan Forest, etc.etc. and spend alot of time tracking animals, etc. I've met an old trapper who was convinced that bigfoot was around, and he told me tales of finding large hominid footprints. I've heard/seen bear, moose, wolf, etc. out in the woods, heard alot of odd calls at night, but I don't know if I could ever consider any of them done by a sasquatch. The ojibwe call the bigfoot Rugaru. The Windigo, which is another ojibway creature, is somebody turned into a giant monster after eating human flesh. wolf and bear tracks, washed out by heavy rain, could appear to be larger than they are from elongation.
