So, I finally got the first episode of my podcast done. Please let me know what you think of it.

    The Itunes link is here:

The Dialectic Struggle - Download free podcast episodes by dialeticstruggle on iTunes.

The Itunes link is showing two copies of the first episode, but only one of them is valid, the one titled 'Jehovahs Witnesses Interview'.

You can also find it directly at Cyberears here:

I would really appreciate feedback on the content. I know the audio itself is a bit rough, I'm still learning my way through creating a clean MP3.

    Thanks,

    John

JWs are funny as hell. I have converted 3 of them back to the real world. I used to tell them to go away. When I was laid off one year I welcomed them into my house and said I will listen to you if you listen to me. Long story short, I "saved" 2 of them. About 3 months later these 2 people brought a friend to my door and I "saved" her too.

Now when I see them coming I answer the door buck nekkid. They apparently do not appreciate the magnificent work of their "god".

I am downloading your podcast and will listen to it later today.

Thanks pixelsmith, I look forward to your feedback. I thought the guest we interviewed was really well spoken. By the way, if anyone is curious, the music at the beginning and the end of the podcast was composed by my friend Rob Wallace. The intro piece was for an Electronic Arts game called 'S.C.A.R.A.B.' that I wrote, and the ending music is from an interactive music CD-ROM that I made.

The artwork for the podcast is a strange surrealistic drawing that I did back in college.

JW women around here dress like high class hookers. They seem to be competing for the sexiest footwear.

The Jehovah's witnesses don't come around here. Funny though, they have a "kingdom house" within about 5 miles of me. The Mormons do , however, come by quite often. I simply talk to them and explain my side of the story, ad nauseaum, while the one dog barks at them, the second bugs them for attention and the cat attempts to sharpen her claws on their legs.

Hey John I am able to download the intro, but the JW episode can't be downloaded through iTunes. It says that the URL could not be found on the server.

EDIT: Okay, I was able to download it from your iTunes page. It's just that it appears twice - one of them (the one that doesn't say "interview") is broken. It sounds like I may find your podcast interesting. I'll listen to it tomorrow.

Oops. I had read the original post earlier. I forgot about it by the time I got home and checked it out.

    Forgive my stupidity.

J.W. and other religious cults are incredibly depressing things to learn about. They are essentially "brainwashing" and mind control organizations.

Hmmm...I'm working on it. That time I recorded it over a service, instead of from skype, so at least there were no VOIP/Skype artifacts. However, the volume levels were way off. I sent in a technical support message to the service and they say they are working on the problem.

I really enjoyed doing that interview, Stacy has a great way of telling a story and I enjoyed tweaking him a little bit on his beliefs.

    j,

There is a really radical individual on youtube that calls himself early2it. Watch a few of these guys latest videos and a few of his early ones to get a taste of his particular and I believe unique belief system. I've never run across anyone quite like him and if you could interview him you'd really have some strange beliefs to explore.

    Thanks TO,

I'll have to check that out. I also just found this person who posted a comment on Nick Redfern's site 'Guy Malone'. Here is his website. Now he's an interesting cat.

ROSWELL ALIENS, UFOs THE BIBLE and END TIMES by Guy Malone

With Nick's new book, there is going to be an ongoing debate about whether UFOs are 'demons' or not; a question which I find immediately annoying as the word 'demon' conveys almost no meaning other than it's emotional context.

How does calling an anomalous phenomenon 'demonic' give it any additional meaning? It still doesn't explain who made the craft, how they were made, where they come from, the physics of their technology, etc.

In one sense I agree with the idea that what we call the UFO phenomenon can be correlated with what people have previously ascribed to as 'demonic'. Also, the term 'demonic' carries with it a connotation of danger, deception, and brings to mind entities which do not have our best interests at heart. Once again, I think the perceived behavior of the UFO phenomenon fits this description.

All that said, it still does nothing to illuminate the problem. If someone thinks calling a flying saucer a 'demon' answers any questions, I would tend to disagree. Where is the demon flying saucer factory located?

Personally, my best theory for the UFO phenomenon is that it represents an introduction into our reality from some 'other' reality. What that 'other' reality 'is' remains a complete and utter mystery to me. If you want to say this 'other' reality is populated by 'demons', well that's all fine and well but it still doesn't provide any real answers about their origin, physics, or mode of operation.

After 8 years of George Bush it doesn't surprise me one bit that people with fanatical and irrational religious beliefs, even apocalyptically minded eschatologists, roam the halls of our government 'think tanks'.

So, is Nick's book simply documenting the fact that people in the government are irrational eschatologists who stick to outmoded and meaningless religious models from way beyond the dark ages of humanity?

While I find that deeply disturbing, it doesn't shock me. It also doesn't shed even the tiniest bit of light on the actual phenomenon itself. I don't know who or what the assholes are that are flying the UFOs, and whether you call them demons, leprechauns, angels, or aliens, none of those descriptions provides any real illumination about the phenomenon.

Generally speaking I don't think most people think nearly weirdly enough when it comes to UFOs. Whatever they are, I tend to think they are really, really, strange and, most likely, completely challenge our entire definition of reality itself.

Ok..so they are demons...now what good does that do us, other than make Steven Greer's head explode?

For those who are interested, I just posted a new podcast interview with Nick Redfern. This is a two hour conversation mostly about his new book 'Final Events'. You can find the podcast here. As always, feedback welcome.

Guy Malone had a podcast at one time. He actually was a pretty good interviewer and has a good "radio voice." However, his religious beliefes led him to stop his podcast and I guess to "fight" the aliens. I'm not into "religion" these days although I am not into reductionism either. I agree jratcliff that people don't think "wierdly" enough about the u.f.o. issue. :) Although, I'm not a beleiver in "spacemen/women" I do enjoy the conversation. I also have seen a few things in the night sky I couldn't explain. Didn't convince me it was from another world but it does keep me wondering.

I completely agree with what you've said there. I think that it is either so strange that it means that if we've imagined something or developed some theory about it, then it couldn't possibly be "that" or we are the victims of perceptional control and manipulation by human agencies of some sort. Perhaps both. Maybe neither.
