Possibly the best example of why you should never take at face value someone who:
1. Is Sincere
2. Has a story so exquisitely detailed that it seems they couldn't just have invented it.
 
Whoa... I recognized the name, and remembered this guy. Whoa... Just Whoa...

The guy who gave us psychological warfare, obviously knew something we didn't, because it worked so well, it even got to him, and he invented it.
