Again, I am not playing the liberal versus conservative game. That's about legitimate policy issues that should be debated in a civil fashion. I'm talking about lies and criminal acts that are hurting this country.

Of course, Trump claims credit for this bill. He also takes credit for the modest economic growth his administration inherited from Obama/Biden. Growth slowed under Trump, even after passing an expensive tax bill largely favoring the rich. Trump says he built the greatest economy in history, rather than admitting he stopped the longest period of economic growth over his failure to take control of the pandemic.

Trump isn't, and has never been, either conservative or a Republican.

Trump is about Trump. It's all about what he can best use to leverage his agenda.

Turns out he can leverage the GOP and their stunning lack of integrity and honesty quite well.

I don't know - I don't watch them that much, as I just said. For instance, I guess it was around July 4th I had watched one of Tucker Carlson's segments in a video, posted through social media, and he was showing gunplay going on in the city streets somewhere, New York I guess somewhere, and I could tell those were Roman candles. You know, the fireworks. Because it was near July 4th. And if you're a redneck like me, you know that people sometimes play around with fireworks, and shoot them at each for fun. Because it's usually a harmless activity. But Fox, or Tucker, or Tucker's writer(s), were using that clip to say that there was anarchy in the streets during these lockdowns, under Gov Cuamo and Mayor de Blasio, and it showed a police SUV driving by slowly but not stopping to do anything about it. So he was saying that the police had been given stand down orders, or something, to not intervene, even in situations like that. But it was just a case of some young men or kids playing around with fireworks. Guns don't show those kind of sparks or smoke.

I mean, it's easy to look up "roman candle battles" on youtube to know what I'm talking about.

I said I've seen people's videos, like from their phones. They're shared all the time online. I mean, at any one time, with large protests, there's probably hundreds being uploaded to Twitter, Facebook and other platforms. The cable networks do not always have the rights to these. They purchase the rights to some of them to show on loop, in between their commercial breaks.

I said july 4th and today is August 24th. I was saying I don't tune in that much. And it was through a clip online, like through someone's online feed, you know? Rather than turning on the TV.

I watch a lot of things. I probably watch more porn (in terms of hours) than I do OANN or Fox or other news services (however I receive the content).

I don't see how the riot footage could be faked. It's not paranormal activity. It wouldn't be a reflection in a window, or a mistaken blurry light in the sky. It's footage of people running into buildings, then running out with merchandise (looting), or beating up people in the streets. I suppose that could all be computer-generated. It's theoretically possible, but it didn't seem likely to me.
