Yes, he's coming back to The Paracast!

On Friday July 15th, we're recording an episode with the one and only Don Ecker. He'll cover his research into Philip Imbrogno and lots, lots more.

1. What is your thoughts regarding the latest disclosure on Imbrogno and should we, the readers of his material be skeptical of all the information because of his lack in academic background?, how much damage has he done to the field do you think?

3. Why have you decided to come back into the ufo field?
 
I know you have proven false Phil's special forces association, but what is the word on his military service? Was he in the military at all?

Observer, you ask some good questions, so here are my answers.

Philip J. Imbrogno is now a proven liar. Anything he has said in the past, now or in the future is (at least as far as I am concerned) suspect. At this point Imbrogno could tell the the following ...

The Sun rises in the morning and

The Moon comes out at night! Oh really Phil? Well, not until I go outside and check .. thanks.

I now totally distrust anything and everything he has said or written in the past, now in the present or in the future.

As to why I have come back? This may seem a bit obtuse so hang in there with me.

I left active research in late 2006 - very early 2007. I still do radio where I deal with these topics but up to this point .. I have conducted no investigations. However with the military claims made by Imbrogno in light of his lying about his academic background as proven my Lance Moody, I felt duty and honor bound ... in memory of my dead friends, to check this out to my best ability.

Mr Ecker, if you have any updates or interesting previously-untold tidbits related to Moon anamoly stuff- Vito Sachorri (er, spelling?), that one lady you interviewed who said the worked at NASA, and so on- I'd really apreciate hearing about it. Listening to some of your old DMR episodes about that stuff was some of the most interesting listening ever.

Terjarv, as I mentioned in the Dark Matters Radio to another user, I did not check if he had military service only if he had served in the Special Forces. The entire time I was working with my contacts in the special warfare community I was sick in my stomach. This Stolen Valor thing really got to me, especially from a guy that I thought I knew ... and more importantly that I had trusted. I suppose I could do more research and find out but my attitude right now is, and I am being honest, Who really gives a shit? He (if that was him up on ATS) claimed he served in the Air Force. Did he? Well he also claimed a degree from MIT. He claimed he served in Cambodia with SF. He claimed a lot of things that did not pan out. At this point I really do not care if he was a Girl Scout, I am so disgusted with this mess. Now I would really like it if it died a quiet death.

I hope you don't think I am being a smart ass, I am not. I am just disgusted with it. Nothing on you Buddy.

Awesome, really looking forward to this one! Already have some questions lingering in my mind (soon to be posted here) about some 'rather' shady dude that died some time ago in LA on or near train tracks, have to dig up his pseudonym an relisten to the episodes of Darkmatters before again though.

Will, nothing from Vito or Donna Hare in a long time. However, in talking with Gene and Chris today we discussed the possibility of doing a Lunar "round table" in the near future. Hang in there ... this might happen sooner than later.

I come a bit late on the topic as show with Don Ecker must have already been recorded (planned on the 15th July). I'd still ask about something I'd be interested to know about "lunar anomalies" in case M. Ecker could still provide an answer : has he read the book "penetration" from Ingo Swann ? In this book Ingo Swann speaks of his remote viewing for an unknown organization on some places on the moon where he saw what looks like artificial structures. He also argues a lot about how the findings about this asteroid had been hidden since the late fifties in the official litterature (presence of water & armosphere, high resolution pictures, surprizing observations on the surface...), which leads him to believe in a kind of "conspiracy" about the moon (lunar investigations maybe given up due to an ET presence). Due to the fact that the moon is so closed to earth, with the improvement of technology for decades and how extensively and widely the moon must have been observed all over the world now, these speculations seem to me very far-fetched. If it wasn't that they come from someone with such a recognized reputation in the field of remote viewing (though that does'nt garantee everything as we have recently see), I would have easily see them as crazy speculations of some very imaginative guy. So my question would have been : has Don Ecker read this book and what does he think about it ?

Yes, I read (and still have) Penetration. I received a copy when it was first released and we reviewed it in UFO Magazine back in the day.

Like most people who read it, the book has a very real WOW factor. I spent a lot of time speaking to Ingo about this, as a matter of fact the above photo was taken at a dinner Ingo and I and my wife and one other guy had here in Burbank, CA, at an Italian restaurant a few years ago. He wanted to talk to me about my lunar research and of course I wanted to talk to him about his RV-ing the Moon. We spent about 4 or 5 hours there and I wish I could have recorded what we talked about. Now, I think I know what you want to ask me next ... do I believe it?

The entire RV thing can be very controversial. My fall-back position is that it seemed to work well enough for the DOD-CIA for about 20 years. Well, at least they kept the program going that long and it seems that they had enough success during that time that it was not canceled. I might also add that Swan, in my humble opinion, is the real deal. He is, after all, the Godfather of the RV program. Having spoken with a number of former Remote Viewers, most of them were in awe of Ingo. Having talked to him several times about that famous Moon session, I am convinced that he is convinced that it happened just like he said it did.

Why someone hasn't optioned Penetration for a movie is beyond me. It has espionage, UFOs, ESP, aliens on the moon, you name it. The fact that it all happened to a guy who was writing porn for the mob makes it even more interesting!

Nice picture, and thanks for your answer here :). For myself, I've considered (and still consider) Ingo Swann as someone quite trustwothy especially in regards of his dedicate work in the field of remote viewing, in which he was a kind of pioneer. Indeed, I believe that everyone that would read "penetration" would be struck by its content and so did I when I read this book a few weeks ago (It has just recently been translated and printed in France), and it sure go against the mainstream ideas of a complete absence of life or activity on the moon...

One thing that I found somehow strange though in the book is the fact that the mysterious team who recruited him had to be dismantled as their work had to be carry on later by other people. What I find strange with this is that if you need such a secrecy on that subject then it would be logic to not divulge any reasons or details about the work being done to the "executive people" not in the "need to know", wich would be the case with temporary teams. The whole thing would be better kept secret only to the "permanent staff", and some compartmentalization done on the work wich has to be done in order to prevent anyone to get the whole picture. (I don't justify this ideology here but just put myself in the place of those who might be the command of a secret project and with such a view). However, it appears that "Axelrod" and his coworkers know a lot about the whole subject (they even brought Ingo Swann to see a UFO). :confused:
