In the past couple of days, someone who produced a show trashing me and The Paracast has been busy spamming our forums and contacting many of you multiple times with unsolicited Private Messages about that show.

I have removed the offender's messages and deleted the forum membership, after reporting the offense to Spamcop and other organizations designed to protect us from junk mail.

When I wrote to the offender and asked that he stop spamming our members, he responded as follows:

I will leave it to you to judge the sanity and intent of that person.

The only email we send via these forums is a notice if you haven't posted in 30 days. You have the option to opt-out of those messages. We also send out newsletters to subscribers with clear Unsubscribe links if you want yourself removed.

If you ever receive junk mail from these forums, please let me know about it. My team of moderators will act promptly on those complaints.

Ahh, yes... his charming message to me went like this:

By the way, despite what he may claim, this was sent to me via Facebook directly from Jeffrey Pritchett, and not some anonymous poster here.

The guy clearly has... um... "issues." As Gene said, consider the source.

In the meantime, as I've said before, the Paracast is about the paranormal and related subjects - NOT about the personalities that may have once been involved with the show itself. If you have any particular questions, I suggest you contact the relevant parties in private.

    Moving on...
