Well, actually, she sorta did...
It's called "The Gnosis institute" — and it has about as much to do with genuine "gnosis" as her soothsaying has to do with reality.
I agree with you, Gareth.
There is a thread here somewhere called "Another reason why advanced species should avoid us." It occurs to me that, until we humans can respect the non-human intelligent life already on this planet, we don't have any business exporting our small-mindedness (and all...
If nothing else, the Jane Leade stuff is a pretty good indication that a phenomenon lots of people think is just a modern folk tale -- an artifact of the "sci-fi age" -- is a phenomenon that has been happening for many hundreds of years, at least.
And that would make it pretty important, I think.
Crop circles... If there was ever any truth to be found in that pond, I think somebody peed in it. (A whole lot of somebodies, actually.)
My interest in diving into it has therefore diminished significantly.
"Michio Kaku: 'We are a Type 0 Civilization.'"
So what happens if/when this industrial civilization collapses (as some have suggested it is already in the process of doing)?
Will our utter (and evident) lack of "mastery" over our energy use then make us a "Type -1 Civilization"?
It's a shame. Slinging the "disinfo guy" appellation has gotten so silly that it's flung at just about anyone who gets disagreed with, at one point or another.

I'm glad the Russians are taking this seriously, too — even though it seems abundantly clear that an industrial civilization in collapse and the global ecosystem it is destroying in order to survive will likely spell our doom long before any asteroid ever could.
Our culture uses self-created nightmares (like 2012) as an anesthetic against the very real threats it is also generating.
Sort of like the function of a thrill ride at an amusement park: the fact that you're several hundred feet off the ground, and about to be plunged at near free fall speed...
"Guest Suggestion: Allagash Abductions."
This is a very interesting case. The descriptions given by these men of the beings they saw have elements that aren't often mentioned, elements which lend great credibility to their accounts in my opinion.

Hi, Schuyler. I think you're making an important point here regarding the dream state vs. waking consciousness, a point that in my opinion needs to be more carefully considered than it usually is, especially by people like myself who have experienced these kinds of conscious anomalies.

Maybe it's just me, but the deeper I got into the Roswell mythos over the years, the more I got the feeling that what I'd walked into wasn't a "saucer crash" of any sort, but a government-sponsored head-game of ever-growing proportions.
Just heard Stanton F repeating smug and facile climate change denial talking poin
A bit ironic, isn't it? As the world grows desperate for renewable resources, "bullshit" has become the most plenteous commodity of all. ::)
(If traded on the Futures Exchange, "bullshit" might make the most...
