I’ve heard where park service personnel have in the past placed fishing nets near geysers to capture the remains of the hapless. All you hear about recovered are flip-flops or tennis shoes.

At the risk of sounding perverse I'd like to be able to look at the incident reports that happened are recorded at Yellowstone National Park.

From the above incident to what you mentioned to people that stray from the boardwalk and fall through on thin crusts, people trying to get water samples, and people that try to make nice nice with the bison there is a lot of trauma type causes here.
