Burnt State
Paranormal Adept
Well in ufolofy, anything's possible, but I don't think we need to go all wizard of oz about it. However, let's face it, there are problems with this case as there are with so many UFO cases. I think that's what makes Hansen's work, and those who explore the psych-social attributes of the phenomena, very compelling. So many of these cases are so shy on hardcore evidence, and that we have really only a handful that offer some degree of convncing data. So much is witness related and with very little secondary evidence.
Many of the most celebrated of cases fall into this category & hoaxers abound. So when we cite the oz factor it actually speaks to the truth of the shadowy nature of these events. There are always just snatches and bits and pieces: a scraped tree here, some imprints over there, a photo and witnesses who believe what they saw came from outer space. It never adds up. And we know no more now than we did in 1947. The only traction has been new ways of thinkng about the phenomenon and hopefully a growing movement that will ultimately ban hypnosis from the process of working with witnesses, especially abductees.
