The general said that although Ukraine has a few of the weapons, Ukrainians have had no training in their use in the 23 years since Ukraine separated from Russia. The general thinks it was an accident due to incompetence.
This explanation makes a certain amount of sense and far more sense than Washington’s propaganda. The problem with the general’s explanation is that it does not explain why the Buk anti-aircraft missile system was deployed near or in a separatist territory. The separatists have no aircraft. It seems odd for Ukraine to have an expensive missile system in an area in which it is of no military use and where the position could be overrun and captured by separatists.
As Washington, Kiev, and the presstitute media are committed to the propaganda that Putin did it, we are not going to get any reliable information from the US media. We will have to figure it out for ourselves.

One way to begin is to ask: Why was the missile system where it was? Why risk an expensive missile system by deploying it in a conflict environment in which it is of no use?
There is the youtube video which purports to be a conversation between a Russian general and separatists who are discussing having mistakenly brought down a civilian airliner. According to reports, expert examination of the code in the video reveal that it was made the day before the airliner was hit.
Another problem with the video is that whereas we could say that separatists conceivably could confuse an airliner at 33,000 feet with a military attack plane, the Russian military would not. The only conclusion is that by involving the Russian military, the video doubly discredited itself.

But to function correctly, an SA-11 launcher, also known as a Buk, is supposed to be connected to a central radar command — as opposed to acting alone — to be certain of exactly what kind of aircraft it is shooting at.
From the information that has come to light so far, the rebels don't appear to have such systems, said Pavel Felgenhauer, a respected defense columnist for Novaya Gazeta, a Moscow-based newspaper known for its critical coverage of Russian affairs.
"They could easily make a tragic mistake and shoot down a passenger plane when indeed they wanted to shoot down a Ukrainian transport plane," he said.
On Friday, Russia's state-owned RIA Novosti news agency also quoted Konstantin Sivkov, director of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, as saying Buk missiles "should be provided with external systems of target identification, that is, radio-location systems. It's an entire system. And the insurgents certainly don't have radio-location."
Without a backup, a missile can be fired by operators who are not totally sure of what they are aiming at.
"Just seeing a blip on a radar screen was in no away sufficient to make a targeting decision," said Keir Giles, associate fellow for international security and Russia and Eurasia programs at the Royal Institute of International Affairs. "You need an additional radar system to which these weapons systems can be connected for additional information."
Social media postings from the rebels in the immediate aftermath of Thursday's Malaysia Airlines disaster also suggested they had assumed civilian aircraft were avoiding the area and that anything in the air was hostile.

We know that the seperatists had been shooting down planes in the days and weeks prior, they openly bragged about it.

They bragged about having captured BUK systems, although there is some speculation this was in fact a cover story to hide the truth that Russia had supplied them.
They certainly needed them given the Ukrainians had air superiority and they were thus sitting ducks

Bob Latiff, a former US weapons developer for the air force and the CIA and now a professor at Notre Dame University, said he leaned towards a belief that it was a case of mistaken identity on the part of those who pressed the button.
"A radar return from an airplane like this would look very similar to that from a cargo plane, as was initially claimed by the separatists. If radar was all they were using, that is a shame," he said. "All airliners emit identification signals which identify the aircraft and provide other information like altitude and speed. They also operate on known communications frequencies. It doesn't sound like the separatists were using any of this.
"My guess is the system's radar saw a return from a big 'cargo' plane flying at 30,000 ft or so and either automatically fired, or some aggressive, itchy operator fired, not wanting to miss an opportunity."

All airliners emit identification signals which identify the aircraft and provide other information like altitude and speed.

The OSCE or the rebels who claim they were following their instructions (An odd claim imo since they intimidated the OSCE at the crash scene with shots fired over their heads)

And at the end of the day they did put the bodies in bags and load them on trucks, his claims dont match the facts

I dont profess to know the "truth" , but i think ive detected some lies that i can prove to myself are from the separatist/Russian side of the story.

The Russians were happy to admit the rebels had Buks, the rebels were happy to take credit for downing 10 planes in recent times.
Weve seen footage of these grubs holding up childrens toys, they have stolen all the valuables and jewelry wedding rings etc etc from the bodies.

That is a true statement if there ever was one.. hell I was there at the time... but anyway this is the main reason I don't trust anyone involved in this.. Russia or the West.

And ive just watched an OSCE observer state he saw separatists using a power saw to cut up parts of the hull and take it away.
This is a crime scene and the suspects are tampering with and removing evidence.......

Now that may be consistant with securing proof the ukranians did it, but if that were the case it would be better to let the international teams find that evidence.

This is why an unbiased central court is needed, investigations might take some time but you should get to the truth faster. Avoiding false-flag justifications for war and the snake pits of national self-interest should be priority number one.
Uncovering the truths in history books along with the atrocities that were triggered by them should be something of the past in our information age... you'd be tempted to think.

What is troubling is our capacity to generate false and convincing information of extreme quality. Without the tools to separate the signal from the noise, we are all vulnerable and manipulable by rich monsters in a world where ca$h is king.
