I came across these two stories and their accompanying pictures this weekend and thought they were both pretty cool. In the later story the alleged ghost is wearing a checkered/plaid shirt but given the circumstances, maybe in this case it's not all that unusual.

We all knew it in some degree, but here's the beginning of the end. Please pass this around to anybody who may be a Ghost Hunters, or GHI fan.

The funny/yet/sad part, read some of the comments. Some people are claiming that's not Donna's voice. Sorry, but I can clearly tell it is. Besides why would this radio show risk a lawsuit saying it is her when it wasn't?

Growing up, you always stayed away unless dared.

tales from parents telling you of a man who still haunts the place after being found hanged there in the 1850's. after an argument with the land owner, over the price rise on his rent of the land. with nothing but despair running through his mind, he felt no choice but to take his life and was not found for days, but when he was, his face blue and swollen, and his body limp,
the tales of hearing the snap of weight against the roof joist, as his memory echoes the jump he took with his sorrows drowning his mind,
i have actually heard what i thought could be this, when i was sixteen years old and me and my friends, being from a background where camping out is still cool at that age, decided on the ultimate summer holiday camping spot for a few nights, the barn, safe from wind or from straying animals, the barn had stood derelict for years. the only thing still standing in there was the cattle crush and the old milking tank, we raised our tent, made a clearing to make a fire. steel bucket in the middle with logs in, sleeping bags out on a ground sheet to surround the fire and drink a bit of whisky that one of us "liberated" from the parents supply, each telling stories of what we had been told of as kids by our parents. one by one we head to our tents and bed down for the night after what was hours of tales of murder and how bodies were discovered, smoking and drinking, like the men we thought we were

half past three in the morning, pitch black, summer harvest moon high in the sky giving a silvery glow in through the cracks in the tiles and the roofing, i woke to a resounding slap and crack, i opened my tent and looked out, red embers still showing in the bucket, and my friends tents still tightly zipped, i thought i must have imagined it, but looking up i saw a shadow a limp figure from the rafters, i lay there the rest of the night til the sun came up at 6am, and i woke my friends, none of them hearing what i heard, none of them believing me, i still believe what i heard was the sound of a desperate man who could not take another minute of his life, still sends a shiver down my spine to think of it, as i was not told of this mans death until after i had been there that night, my mother showed me a page in a book that chronicled the mans suicide,

Along with tales of a man in the 1950's dying from injuries, after being hit by the tractor he thought he had parked, Pinned against the wall, for hours after attempting to lock up the barn for the night, the handbrake wasn't applied properly and the vehicle, slowly and silently, crept towards him as he struggled with he gate, then the spike from the bale forks entered his back, and with the weight of the vehicle pushing through the gate and against the opposite walls, only to be found the next morning. white and lifeless.a pool of blood laying below his body.

all of this still sends a massive tingle down my spine!

Is anyone fimular with the Spiricom Device? This was a decice used to record EVPs in the 70's and 80's. They were run by two doctors who used the machine to communicate with the dead. Does anyone know more about this? There is a lot of controversy about if this thing was "real" or not. Here is a links about it:

Greetings and Salutations

I have no idea how to start this as i want to do a brief "about me" but i will do that in my profile once i create this thread.

Anyway it was about 2:20am and i went to bed. About 2:47am (it is currently 3:07am all times in central) i was jolted away to see.....well it was about the size of a beach ball, and it had swirling blue bands that looked like wet paint, circling that where tinny lights that looked like stars with a clear center, and it moved back and forth for a second or two and then floated out my window. My first impression when i snapped my eyes open and saw it was think Ah (censored) that is my soul.

Needless to say i am a forty year old man, who has striven his whole life to not believe in this kind of stuff, who has only been terrified of three things my whole like, and now i am sitting here very freaked out.....

TV Ghost Shows? Real or BS???

So, my wife and I are just sitting here, watching "My Ghost Story, (Caught on Tape)" tonight. I feel that these shows do a major dis-service to the ghost hunting community. While I do feel that some of these shows are airing some things that could be classed as paranormal, most of these shows are forcing experiences for ratings. I get that they are popular, and that is cool in itself because it does bring attention to the media, but man! OK, so you investigate an old theater that Billie Holliday sang at before, you see a strange formation in a picture, and all of a sudden, IT'S CONFIRMED!!!! Billie Holliday is haunting the theater. I just love jumping to conclusions and calling it fact! Do these shows bother you, or do you love them? I think I am riding the fence...

So, on the south side of Indianapolis there used to be this house that belonged to a rather well-to-do family but went under care of a guy by the name of Matt Speck. Speck(er) had a 10 year contract to care for the grounds and lawn around the house on behalf of the family, but ended up working out a deal with the owner to open it up as a 'real' haunted house......a haunted attraction for paranormal investigators. He called it Blackmoon Manor. Apparently you can do that now....snap your fingers and a dilapidated old house suddenly becomes haunted. Oh, but it was just over 100 years old so it HAD to be haunted, right?

My team investigated the place and had some rather paranormal experiences but, within this last week, it's come out that Specker lied about a great deal of history and 'dark nature' of the house and it's former inhabitants. One mistake Specker made was the fact that a lot of the relatives he was bad-mouthing were still alive!

So a local newspaper did a write up on the house from the relatives perspectives, and I followed up with a blog posting. I could write much more, and probably will, when I have the time but if any are interested here it is. I include a link to the newspaper article in my blog. This is just another bad mark on the face of the paranormal community. Guys like Specker make this entire field of research look like a joke. Specker is the epitome of the word charlatan.

10/20/2012 Geoffrey Brickforest of WBAI Radio of New York and I were on a video shoot at The New Yorker Hotel and while there Geoffrey wanted to get pictures of Tesler's hotel room.
As Geoffrey was taking photos I wondered aloud if anyone had ever ghost hunted Tesla's rooms.
Geoffrey asked if he could take a photo of me as he was doing this I asked aloud if Tesla was still around could he show up as an orb in the picture.

“Good evening Edgar, how are you feeling today?”, spouted Dr. Fellman in a croaky, quiet voice. He sat at a stainless steel table in a rather small, empty, dimly lit room. There was only one window on the wall to his right, and rain was pouring down from the skies. Coffee emitted steam from his white mug which read Red Oak Sanitarium upon its side. Fellman adjusted his thick eye glasses, then looked up to meet the eyes of his patient, Edgar Cook. Edgar looked disturbed and tears welled in his eyes. Fellman knew Edgar to be quite emotional, so he thought nothing of it. “I asked a question Edgar, don’t be withdrawn from me. You know you can speak freely with your doctor.”

“No, I can’t.”, Edgar whispered in a shakey voice.
“And why not?”
“I can’t speak of him. He will hurt me more.”
Dr. Fellman raised an eyebrow at his statement. “And who is he?”
