Gene and Chris present Chad Lewis, a co-author of “The Van Meter Visitor: A True and Mysterious Encounter with the Unknown.” According to Lewis, “for several nights in 1903, the small town of Van Meter, Iowa was terrorized by a giant bat-like creature that emerged from an old abandoned mine. The identity of this mysterious visitor was never discovered.” Over 100 years later, Lewis and his fellow paranormal investigators set out to Van Meter to shine a light on this amazingly bizarre and still unexplained case.

Gene and Chris welcome movie documentary producer James Fox back to the show. On this episode, the outspoken filmmaker will explain what went wrong with the National Geographic “Chasing UFOs” reality show, on which he was a co-host. He also recount his amazing eight-day visit with long-time UFO investigator Ray Stanford, and some of what he learned. Fox will also give you a preview of the forthcoming UFO documentary he is working on, which has the working title of “701.” This number represents the number of UFO cases the Air Force’s Project Bluebook failed to explain.
